ACouple of things...

So...Dad tells me he wants a five person family pic - the Parents, the children & the grandchild...strange in every sense of the word. A snapshot of how things could've been? I get what intentions Dad has...but, I don't understand his intention at the same time.

I think if son like father, then I believe my father to be a romantic at heart - I do believe that he misses her. He has a natural attraction to the opposite sex, as I saw recently, but she...she was the one he failed with. It has to be frustrating...I think he'd see the underlying image in the picture. I think he'd see that snapshot of could've...pictures lie.

I do believe him to be sincere in wanting the pic for Briley to see her family together...I do see that. One day, maybe I'll run into it in a certain house as a centerpiece...?
----------
Time makes all things age well...enjoyment has its maturation date. And sometimes that which you saw is unattainable can be reached with a glance, a gesture...with doing nothing more than standing for her to see...
----------
Let the Right One In...beautiful. Eerily romantic, but ultimately...it shows the meaning of love and of devotion and of humanity. Eli was so mature in some ways as she had experienced the world, but she still had the human side that was the eternal child...horrified with what she needed to do to survive. Definitely a new favorite, maybe tied for first with London and Requiem.
